We constantly remind you to “breathe” in our classes – but why is breathing so important, how does it work, and what does it do for your body?
In this workshop, we’re going to break down the anatomy and physiology of breathing and discuss its effects on emotional regulation. Our studio owner Juliana will cover the basic anatomy of breathing and discuss how breathing relates to your posture, your state of mind, an and your yoga practice. Our teacher Lynn will draw on her years of experience in yoga and clinical therapy to discuss how breathing relates to emotional regulation.
This workshop will give you more insight into the importance of breathing and will teach you practical breathing techniques that you can use in your everyday life.
